Hello, I am Caroline.
I am creative, organised, and a problem solver.

My background is as an Integrated Advertising Art Director, based in London. Always keen to learn, I have taken two years to study UX/UI Design and hope to combine all my skills, and make a Creative Comeback in the creative industry.

I am creative.

I have over a decade of London advertising agency experience as an Art Director. I started winning creative awards at WWAV Rapp Collins, was a founding member, Partner and brand guardian at the start-up Publicis Dialog and a senior creative at the established Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel (now Proximity London). I also freelanced at various agencies, and lectured part-time Graphic Design & Advertising at Buckinghamshire New University.

In 2023 I am: painting watercolour illustrations- working towards a children’s book; learning Procreate & modern calligraphy to further my illustration skills; using Adobe InDesign to create a mood board Bible for an interior design project.

I am organised.

During my extended career break I have been bringing up two children and further developing my project management skills by volunteering for multiple projects ranging from running bars & the merchandising at events for The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club, to property management, and theatre production.

In 2020 I started my path back to work by winning a place on the Creative Equals Creative Comeback programme. An inclusive two week programme helping creatives return to work, which is partnered with D&AD, facebook and Diageo.

I am a problem solver.

Always learning and ready for new opportunities- I recently tunnelled my problem solving nature by completing two Professional Diplomas in User Experience Design and Visual Design at the UX Design Institute. UI Visual Design is what excites me, and really compliments my creative Art Direction skills.

Currently, I regularly volunteer at my local food bank, a problem I wish wasn’t necessary.
